Organization Information
On January 1, 2014, KRISO was launched as an affiliate of Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology. As a leader in technology development in ship and ocean engineering, KRISO is striving to resolve national problems by developing, applying, commercializing and researching original technology.
Technology for basic and combined use of seawater energy: Ocean thermal energy conversion, cooling and heating using seawater, new and renewable desalination and material extraction techniques in response to climate change and to ensure sustainable use of food, energy and water by using seawater resources.
